Morpheus8 is an advanced non-surgical treatment which combines radiofrequency and microneedling to stimulate collagen production, tighten skin, reduce hyperpigmentation, and improve overall skin tone and texture.
Both micro-needling and radio frequency are proven mediums that assist in the anti-aging process and skin rejuvenation process. Micro-needling creates tiny, sterilized wounds in the skin that promote stronger skin growth. After micro-needling the skin produces more collagen, appears brighter, smoother and firmer. Radio frequency is an FDA-approved treatment that tightens and rejuvenates the skin. Combining these two techniques into the Morpheus8 provides patients with the most advanced skin rejuvenation treatment in the industry.
Microneedling is minimally-invasive and stimulates your body’s own healing mechanisms to repair blemishes, lines, and other forms of damaged skin. As counter-intuitive as it might sound, microneedling kick-starts this healing process by first lightly pricking skin surfaces with tiny needles. These minor “injuries” trigger major healing responses!
This FDA-approved procedure uses one advanced device, adding pulses of radiofrequency (RF) energy to microneedling treatment, creating a “best of both worlds” therapy.
The Morpheus8 device pricks the skin, initiating healing responses that include the generation of new collagen and skin tissue. The same device also delivers RF waves to deeper dermal layers that microneedling alone cannot reach. This combination produces smoother and firmer skin using the device’s 24 coated needles to coagulate fat and contract connective tissue.

If you smoke, you will need to stop before and after your treatment for a period of time specified by your doctor. You will also be directed to suspend the use of any supplement or medication—such as aspirin—that could elevate bleeding during and after your procedure.
Your procedure will be performed in a treatment room and typically takes between 30 minutes and two hours. The device causes little pain and irritation, but we will apply a topical cream to numb the area before your procedure to provide additional comfort.
Morpheus8 will be passed 1-3 times over the treatment area. The handheld device is applied to those sites, allowing the 24 coated needles to lightly perforate your skin. The pins also emit radiofrequency waves that penetrate deep into your dermal skin to tighten laxity and contract connective tissue.
To lower the risk of infection, don’t touch or apply anything to your treatment areas for at least 12 hours following your procedure.
You will have slight redness and swelling for three or four days, but most people say it feels like a mild sunburn. As your microneedle punctures heal, your skin may flake a little. Makeup may be applied 1-2 days after treatment.
Diligently moisturize your treatment areas with hydrating cream. In addition, daily application of SPF 30 or higher sunscreen is a must.
You should be able to return to your regular exercise routine four days after treatment.
You will start seeing results almost immediately following your first Morpheus8 microneedling treatment, but you will likely need at least three sessions to fully optimize the benefits of your radiofrequency microneedling.

Yes, somewhat. You will feel some slight pain and irritation as the microneedles glide across your skin, and we’ll be happy to apply a numbing agent to your treatment areas before your procedure to manage any discomfort.
All microneedling treatments come with small risks, including bleeding, infection, poor wound healing, and allergic reactions to materials used in the procedure. This treatment is generally not recommended for people who are pregnant or have chronic skin conditions.
Your results will continue to improve for up to three months following your last treatment, after which your results should be durable and even permanent. But remember, your normal aging process will continue.
Usually, yes. We generally suggest a series of three sessions, each separated by 3-4 weeks. We will recommend your optimal number of sessions based on your goals and objectives.
Since this treatment is a cosmetic procedure, it is typically not covered by insurance.
Industry data indicate treatment sessions cost between $700 and $950, with discounts sometimes available for a series of three treatments. Discuss all costs with your provider during your consultation.
